Back To Home...Back To Blahhhh-sics...

My neigborhood is quiet. And it's boring too. How many times can I endure the smell of cat piss as I walk up and down the staircase anyway, right? Darn neighbors. One interesting thing of note. Instead of more people running in the nice quiet confines of suburbia, there are less. I am all alone out here and it sucks. How does one train? No fun.

On the 22nd, I ran 10 miles. On the treadmill at the Fitness 19 gym. Ho Hum. I'm the fastest person in this gym, so clearly something has to be wrong. I am definitely nothing to write home about. So, yes, okay, I can pump the treadmill up to 10.0 for about 1/2 mile, even 12.0 for a 1/4 mile. So what? Big whoop. For once, it would be nice to see someone get on a treadmill next to me without looking like they just came out of a Wendy's having finished a Baconator supersized combo.

The following day, I decided to run to Lake Argyle and back. It was daylight, but it was raining. Bah Humbug. I'd rather be running in Central Park. But why?? Was it the plethora of runners, of comrades all outdoors for a common purpose? Was it the cute dogs being walked around the area? Was it the cosmo style of life for which I am completely bereft ever since I moved out to Suburbiaville? Who knows. And yes....I would be that 'who' too. Give me about another 20 more posts (or more) and you too will know more of everything.

But not yet....

Hey...that looks like Bay Shore. We just drove past that lake yesterday, on Merrick road. We kept on to deer Park Road, trying to get up to Belmont Lake Park.

Anyway...

There are some places that are just great to run. I love the beach..although it's a little chilly now, I'd still go.
