My obedience to the NYRR's club is nearly complete

In addition to being an active NYRR member, and running in 9 qualifying races in order to qualify for the next year's marathon, starting last year we had to volunteer in at least 1 race per year.

I also choose the NYRR Mini race, so that I can see all the women running. How much more blatant can that be? The night before I was at Mark's house (with about 80 other people) celebrating a chocolate fondue party. There I met a runner, who I later saw her pass me by in today's race where I was a race marshall.
